Take it down to a vets office, talk to the vet if you can, the manager if the vet's not there. I took bio 1/2 and chem 1/2 at a community college, then o-chem, biochem, and upper division biology courses at a 4-year university. I've perused many an animal internship and can't think of one off the top of my head that is paid.
